Look at the horses, Mimi.
Then we headed over to the petting zoo. It was a zoo no doubt. Last year it seemed they limited the number of people. In fact, my parents didn't go in because it was 2 adults to 1 child. This year...no such thing. It was beyond crowded in the zoo, but Lyla had so much fun petting the animals. She did get a little concerned when she found hay on her boot. Yes, she is her mother's daughter.
The absolute most fun was the horse ride. Lyla was too little last year. I was a little worried that she would be nervous once she got on the horse, but she proved me wrong! Lyla had more fun than any other kid on her ride. She was beaming from ear to ear. I think she was in pure heaven. Daddy walked beside her, but I'm pretty sure she didn't really need it. If it weren't for the 20 minute wait, I would have paid for her to do it again. It was a proud mommy moment as I watched my little girl find pure joy on that horse. I teared up with pride. Just look at that smile!

We ended the day with watching a hunting dog show. Well, Lyla and Daddy watched while the rest of us relaxed on the wall. It was a great day!

I loved the video of her on the horse (I know you didn't post it here, but thought it was worth mentioning)! Fun times!
Missed seeing this when you posted it but LOVE the adorable picture of her in the pig nose. Too funny!
