Okay, so it's been two weeks since I've blogged and apparently I'm in trouble for not updating more often. In my defense, not much has been going on as far as my pregnancy. Two weekends ago, we went to the coast with my family. My sister, the excited Aunt, talked to the baby every morning and every night. She felt that it was important that we all talk to the baby, and she wanted to be the first. The nice thing about being pregnant is all I have to say is, "the baby is hungry" and everyone drops everything to make sure I eat. It's been great. Speaking of food, I'm hungry all the time, but it doesn't take much to fill me up and the past week I feel icky (not nauseous) after I eat. That hasn't been much fun.

Our annual picture at our favorite restaurant in Port Aransas, called Trout street. That's my wonderful parents, my sister and her new boy, John.
This past weekend Andy and I made a quick trip to New York, New York. His cousin JJ was turning 30 and wanted to celebrate in The Big City. Andy and I were excited to be able to make a quick trip. We felt like such jet setters. However, I have learned that pregnancy and flying do not go well together. I threw up on 3 out of the 4 planes I was on. That was not fun, but the trip was still worth it. Andy was so good at taking care of me as I was sick. What a trooper! We ate at great places, including the famous Serendipity, spent time in Central Park, shopped in China Town and visited Grand Central Station. We were thrilled to be able to spend time with our friends Will, Carrie and Pam who all live in New York.
Last week was spent in meetings and preparing for school. Those long days wore me out, and now school is in full swing. School started yesterday! We have our first football game this weekend. I am excited for football season.
As far as the pregnancy, I am still feeling good. No morning sickness! In the past 10 days, I've noticed that my stomach isn't as flat as it once was, but I guess that's all part of it. I can still fit into all my clothes, so that's good. Well, I guess that's all for now.

This is the crew that we visited in New York. From left to right, Kyle (Will's old assistant), Carrie, JJ, Pam, Will, me and Andy. This was the first night at Will's apartment on 48th! I think we look pretty good for 3AM!

Andy and me in Central Partk waiting to watch August Rush! It was so cool to see a movie in the park!

A huge chocolate bunny in Dylan's Candy Shop. If you don't know, I wait all year for the Easter chocolate bunnies to come out. They are by far my favorite chocolate dessert. I would have eaten the whole thing had it not been roped off.

Andy and me in front of Serendipity. The best desserts ever!! Unfortunately, there was no celebrity spotting!
