Well, for those of you who don't know, Andy had knee surgery on Thursday morning. He has OCD, no, not the kind you are thinking of...that's me! OCD is an injury that is common among athletes. Basically, an old bone bruise on his femur has been deteriorating for the past 10 years, and a piece of bone finally broke off and was floating behind his knee cap, causing much pain. The doctor went in and was able to screw the bone piece back in place. Andy is to put no weight on his right leg for 6 weeks. He has 4 weeeks paid FMLA from work and we are hoping that the doctor grants him that entire time. My wonderful dad (Big Guy) took Thursday and Friday off to take Andy to the doctor and be his nurse so I woouldn't have to take time off the first week of school. Andy has been laid up since then playing video games (as he is currently doing) sleeping, and trying to avoid pain. We are both thankful that they finally found out was what wrong with him and were able to fix it before the baby comes. I am grateful that it was early in my pregnancy. I don't think I could be lifting his wheelchair, helping him off the couch, etc. if I was much further into my pregnancy.
As for the pregnancy, all is going well. I am starting my 10th week and feeling pretty good. I still get the icky feeling after I eat, but other than that, I'm doing well. I promise to put an updated picture of my belly in the next few weeks when you can really see that it is not flat anymore.

I'm glad surgery went well! I didn't know he was having it. I'll give him a call soon!
