We had our official last appointment this afternoon. We started with a sonogram. Everything is looking good. Lyla is still strong and healthy. Placenta is still producing and we are good on amniotic fluid. She slept through the entire sonogram. Try as we might, she was not willing to wake up or give us any big movements.
After the sonogram we moved on to see DLG. I'm still at a 4 and 80%. Lyla's head is lower in my pelvis. Stress test came back good (although it kills my lower back). We scheduled an induction for Thursday morning at 7:00AM. It is nice to know that we will be holding our sweet girl in just a few days.
As many of you know, I have been trying so hard to keep from inducing. I really don't want to be put on pitocin. One, I don't want the drugs, and two I don't want to be stuck in bed through my whole labor. However, today was a much better day. Making it official makes it easier. I'm glad I know Lyla will be here soon. I am trusting that whatever happens God is in control. I'm still praying that Lyla will come on her own over the next few days, but if not, that will be okay. Bottom line, I'm ready to meet my girl. As long as she is healthy, we will be happy.
On a side note. My doctor thinks Andy might have pink eye. Yuck! He is going to try to get in to see our GP in the morning. We don't want anything contagious when the baby arrives.

I really do think we all need a
40+ week picture. It is only fair. I would even take a 39-40 week. I miss that baby belly!
Don't you just love blogging? I didn't think that I would really get into it, but I am hooked! It's such a good outlet and I find that it's nice to see and read about other moms going thru the same things I am.
Can't wait till Thursday (or before)!
