Well, it's that time of year again. Football season is in full swing. It truly is my favorite time of year. There is nothing like high school football. The cheering, the band music, the roaring crowd, and of course....halftime. It is by far the best part of the school year.
We had our second game last night and let me just say my girls kicked butt. I am 44 strong on dance team and over 150 on pep squad. Needless to say we make quite a presence in the stands. My girls are cheering loud, dancing hard and all in all making my job fun and easy.
And Lyla...well she is eating it up. She came to every game last year, but as you can imagine, a 4-6 month old wasn't that into it. Now, she is loving all of it. She dances to the music, runs up and down the track, and occasionally tries to get out on the field with the boys. The only thing she isn't to keen on is the mascots. She likes to look at them from a distance, but when they come up to her, she shrinks back in my arms.
It's been so much fun. I love my job, I love football season, and I love that my family can be a part of it.
