One of those nights

Tonight I'm having one of those pains in the pit of my stomach because I know the weekend is coming to an end. I don't get this every Sunday and in fact I haven't had it yet since the school year started. I blame it on the fact that I've been so busy with football on Saturdays that I'm a zombie on Sundays. But this weekend was our bi-week. Meaning I didn't have any commitments when I left school on Friday. I got to spend the whole weekend with my sweet little angel. Friday night we hung out at my parent's house. Saturday my mom and I took Lyla to the zoo. It was perfect! The cloud cover kept us cool and kept the crowds away. The animals were all out and about and Lyla had room to run around. We ended our trip with Lyla's first train ride. The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing with my parents and enjoying the rain. Today Lyla and I went to church and then had the whole day together. (Did I mention Andy has been out of town since Thursday night?). I've had such a blast that it makes it hard knowing that I've got another busy week and limited time with my girlie.

So, tonight is just one of those nights were my heart is sinking and tears are welling up in my eyes because I know I've got to go back to work on Monday. And I know as soon as I get there, I'll be fine. It's just the knowing that I only get a few hours with her every day that sucks.
