I had my 32 week appointment yesterday afternoon and found out that I passed my glucose tolerance test!! What a huge relief and answer to prayers. I was not looking forward to the limitations of being diabetic during my pregnancy. We also listened to our little girl's strong and healthy heartbeat. We are both doing fine. Andy and I are now starting to discuss our "birthing plan". Dr. DeLaGarza did give us the "run down" of what labor should look like and the basic complications that could lead to a c-section. Andy and I left feeling like we know more about what is going to happen. It's so hard when it's your first time. I feel like I don't know anything.
On a side note, my sweet friend Jamie had her baby Wednesday morning (on her due date). She brought little Amelia to our couple's bible study Sunday night. I got to hold her for a few minutes. I watched her wiggle and squirm in my arms. It was so funny for me to see a live visual of what Lyla is doing in my belly. Watching Amelia made Lyla's movements much more real. I know, I know, feeling her all the time should make it real, but I never really thought about what it looks like when she wiggles. Now I know! I can't wait for our little bundle of joy to arrive. I want her to stay in there as long as possible growing strong, but I also want her out so I can hold her.
The good news, less than 8 weeks to go!

Can't believe it's getting so close! I got your email a few days after you sent it and called Andy to apologize for not getting it till late. We'd still love to have you over to meet Eden especially before yall are so busy with Lyla.
Great news about your GD test - the same thing happened to me and I should've told you earlier - sorry! The first time is hard because you don't know what to expect but PLEASE ask me any questions you might have. I actually typed something up after Claire was born to send to people so I'll look it over and send it to you. Just some things i wish I would've known - have I sent it to you already? I'll send it again jsut in case
