Oprah

I've always been a big fan of Oprah, but more and more I find myself annoyed and frustrated at her. Sometimes she just doesn't get it. She's never been married, she's never been a mother and yet she makes statements like she knows. Really!?! You don't know. I'm sitting here watching an episode of women who have been cheated on and the "other women". This one woman who's husband left her during her 4th pregnancy talked about how she wrote a letter to the other woman. It basically asked her how she as a woman could feel comfortable knowing she was part of breaking up a marriage, but ended with "if being involved with a married man is all you have in your life, you are worth more." Wow! What an amazing statement. I mean she did put some of the blame on the other woman but also built her up at the end by telling her she is worth more than being the other woman. And Oprah just didn't get it. But she doesn't know what it's like to be in a marriage.

This same woman said that she grabbed on to her husband's ankles as he walked out the door. Oprah said, "don't you wish you would have just stood up." I mean, I'm sure this woman was humiliated by being dragged by her husband, but I'm sure at that moment she was thinking, "I'll do anything to make this marriage work."

Sorry, I just had to get this off my chest. Oprah...get a clue.
