Some things to remember:
- Lyla squeals with delight at things (esp. her friend Amelia).
- She really watches things around her.
- Lyla is now rolling over in her crib, which then frustrates her. We have to roll her back over and tuck her in tight to keep her from ending up on her tummy.
- Lyla found her feet about 2 weeks ago. She loves to hold on to them all the time now. It makes diaper changes a little interesting.
- Lyla is scooting. She moves all over her blanket on the floor. She will work to find her toys. She puts her head down and her butt up to pull herself forward.
- I think she'll be crawling soon. She has her legs down, she just hasn't figured out her arms yet.
- She still drools all the time.
- She puts everything in her mouth. She especially likes to put fingers, jewelry and cups.
- She gets excited when she sees her bottle. She will reach for it and shake trying to get her mouth to it.
- Lyla took a step back in sleeping through the night. She started waking up at 5:30 and wanting a bottle. This meant only sleeping for 6-7 hours before needing a bottle. She would then go back to sleep for another 3-4. Just this past week we have worked on breaking her of this early morning wake up. We put her binky back in her mouth and turn her night time cd back on. This has really worked. She will go back to sleep until about 7:30.
- Lyla is not dependent on her pacifier. We use it at night to put her to sleep, but she usually spits it out and uses her thumb. Much to our chagrin, she is going to be a thumb sucker.
Some pictures from her photo shoot with Yvonne Robles at the Helotes Nursery.

4 months? 4 months! She can not be 4 months old! The pictures from Yvonne are beautiful. I'm a sucker for the big bows.
