Saturday Andy and I had the wonderful opportunity to hang out with some of Andy's colleges buds. I am so lucky to have met this people and now consider them my friends as well. Johnny, an old roommate and life long friend, was in town from Portland. Johnny is the lead singer of a band up in Portland called the dimes (check them out). We go together at Woodlake golf course. Johnny's dad owns it, so he let us hang out in the club house. My parents kept Lyla over night, so we had no curfew. Yes, I know. I have amazing parents. P.S. they have their own nursery.
All of Andy's friends from college are musical in some way. Most have music degrees and are performing or teaching. The guys brought their guitars, jimbas (I'm sure I spelled this wrong), and voices and put on a 7 hour jam session that ended with a few songs sung on the first tee box at 2:00AM. Yes, I said 2:00AM. We didn't get home until 4:00!!!!(I haven't stayed up that late in years.) It was such a great time! Andy absolutely loves getting together with everyone to sing, drink and be merry.
We were reminded by Johnny's dad that Saturday was the 40t anniversary of Woodstock. So, we celebrated Woodstock 69 at Woodlake 09!
(Sadly the camera was left at home.)
